Air separator RK

The RK separators are used for the separation of a stream of aspirated material from the transport air. The material is conveyed by air into the upper part of the machine. At the top of the rotor, air is sucked out of the machine through a set of perforated grids/screens and this up to 65.000m³/h for the largest condensers. The dust loaded air passing through the perforated screens can be treated in a filter unit.

The separated material is taken by the rotor and falls down by gravity at the bottom of the machine.
